SBCA 2009 National Specialty Show

Photo Contest

Dust off your old photos or gather new ones of your Saints doing what they do best!

Photo entries will be displayed Thursday Oct 7, 2010 to Saturday Oct 9, 2010. Judging will be Thursday morning.

Photos must be the original work of the entrant, except in the Portrait Category, Judging is based on visual quality of the photographs, its originality, and its relationship to the category.

Photos may be mounted on poster or mat board. Please do not send framed photos. On the back of each photo write your name, address, phone number, and category (title or caption optional).  When submitting photos for the photo contest please include an email address and Melodie will send you an email to confirm her receipt of your photo(s). Please do not put name, title or any identifying marks on the front of the photo. Further more, the photos MUST be left on display through dinner on Saturday night. It should be for everyone to enjoy and be on exhibit until that time.

Do not send irreplaceable photos. We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged photos. If you want photos returned, you MUST send a self addressed and stamped envelope with your photos. The envelope must accommodate the size of the photos and the postage must cover mailing. All mailed photos need to be received by September 30, 2010.  Photos may be hand delivered by 6:00 PM, Wednesday Oct 6, 2010 to Melodie Sorensen

Prizes: First to Fourth place Rosettes in each category except Professional Portraits. Professional Portraits are for exhibit only. Sixth through Eighth place honorable mention, depending on number of entries. 

Prize and Rosette for “Best in Specialty Show” and “Best in Show”

Entry Fees:

$10 first entry
$5 each additional entry (No limit)
